Submissions close at 5pm Friday 1 August 2008 for the Mainpower application for resource consent for the Mt Cass Windfarm with the Hurunui District Council.  This consent process is possibly your only chance to have your voice heard in this.

We encourage you to make a submission especially if you oppose the application. You must put in a written submission on Form 13. We know you may not have time to write much so to help you we have put some of the reasons on a started version of form 13 for you.  You can use this form just as it is by filling in your details if you wish or you can add, alter or remove bits from it as you wish.  The version doesn't include any comment on the visual impact of the wind turbines on the ridge but you can easily add something like 'The visual impact on the landscape of the turbines on the ride in unacceptable' it that's how you feel.
